Knights of Columbus Assembly #2928 (4th Degree Knights)

Kevin Setterholm

The Fourth Degree is the highest and most prestigious rank in the Knights of Columbus, known as the "Patriotic Degree". Established in 1900, its core principle is patriotism, encouraging active Catholic citizenship and loyalty to one's country alongside service to the Church.

Fourth Degree Knights are best known for their Honor Guard and Color Corps, which serve at both civic and religious functions. They are highly visible in their distinct ceremonial uniforms (which traditionally feature a cape, feathered chapeau, sword, and white gloves) and act as an honor guard at Midnight Masses, Eucharistic Adorations, and the funerals of fallen brother Knights
