Handmaids of the Eucharist
"Behold the handmaid of the Lord, be it done to me according to Thy word."
The Handmaids
The Handmaids seek to emulate the Blessed Virgin Mary while working with the head sacristans at the parish to prepare the sacred vessels and the hosts and wine that will become the Body and Blood of Christ during Mass. The Handmaids are open to young women between 10 and 20. Nine girls currently are participating. They meet every third Thursday from 5:30 to 8:30 PM.
