COME AND BE COMFORTED
Each year, members of our parish experience the loss of loved ones. Our Lady of the Valley offers meaningful funeral support, and Seasons of Hope carries that caring spirit into the difficult period that follows, when grief can feel overwhelming.
Seasons of Hope gives bereaved adults an opportunity to come together and share in God’s love. Supported by our faith community, participants can give voice to their unique experiences of grief while finding healing and spiritual growth.
Through scripture, prayer, reflection, activities, faith sharing, and fellowship, Seasons of Hope offers a safe and compassionate place to mourn.
SEASONS OF HOPE MAY BE FOR YOU IF…
Seasons of Hope welcomes those who have experienced the death of a loved one, including a spouse, sibling, parent, child, unborn child, or friend.
You are looking for friends in Christ with whom you can share your journey of sorrow.
You are open to discovering new ways of coping with grief.
You have been trying to understand the meaning of your grief.
You do not want to feel alone anymore.
You want to move forward with life but have found it difficult.
You are seeking a safe, faith-filled place where you can speak openly about your loss.
You find comfort in the teachings of Christ.
You want to find hope and healing alongside others who understand the experience of grief.
