Seasons of Hope Group for the Bereaved Begins Soon!
If you are in need of consolation after losing a loved one, this Christ-centered faith sharing group
is for you. Sessions start in August. Wednesday August 12 th at 10AM to 11:30 AM in the St.
Ann Room and Thursday evening August 13 th at 6:30PM – 8:00 PM in the St. Ann Room. The
sessions run for 6 weeks. Our goal is to offer this program three times a year.

"Serving the Community One Bowl at a Time" Held in the GYM
Annual Lenten Luncheon Held every Friday during lent. 11:30-1:00 PM Lunch served for a nominal fee (last year was 8.00 per person) which is used to cover the cost of the food served and balance received is returned to the church as fund raiser.
Table Set Up for tables and chairs Thursday evenings prior to each Lenten Friday. Map of set up available. Takes 4 people less than 1 hour.
Friday Morning Kitchen/Cook Prep Team arrives 8:30 AM; preps meal, sets up service and organizes for the meal serving. Serving starts 11:30 and complete by 1:00. Cleanup complete by 3:00 and turned over to the K of C for their Fish Fry.
Open to the Public. Parishioner's volunteer to support event through Women Of Faith, K of C, and other Ministries as well as individuals through pie donations and monetary support.
The team hosts a short "Thank You" event after the last Lenten Friday and uses the JPII room for this as a means of recognizing those contributing their time and talents to the event. Usually the Saturday before holy week begins this year would be March 20th, 2027 10:30-12:00.
Team can provide marketing items once updated each year. We would like this to continue to be an established event each year.
Has been a Parish/Community Supported event for the past 30+yrs. serving 120-150 people attending each Friday.
Dates Feb. 12th - March 19th 2027.
Lenten Fridays: Feb. 12th; Feb.19th, Feb. 26th, March 5th, March 12th and March 19th. 8:30-3;00pm

BINGO

Currently the 4th degree of the Knights of Columbus Assembly #2829 is running Bingo, with dinner and drinks on the 1st Monday of the month from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Guests can start purchasing meals around 6:30 PM.
The Assembly would like to also beginning running additonal Bingo games and meals on the 3rd Monday of the month starting in November. This second "Bingo Night and Dinner" would also run from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM

4th Degree of the Knights of Columbus Assembly Meeting

Knights of Columbus Assembly #2829 meet on the 1st Tuesday of the Month (starting at 6:00 PM) one hour before the 3rd degree Council of the Knights of Columbus meets . Once the assembly meeting finishes, most of the member stay for the council meeting which runs from 7:00 - 8:30 PM
The Assembly has a roster of 65 members and averages about 20 men at a meeting.

Potluck dinner and Bible Study Meetings

The Cor Men's Group Meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday for the month from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. Our meetings start with prayer, followed by a potluck dinner and then a Bible Study. We meet in the John Paul II room and need access to the kitchen. I have bee arriving at 5:00 PM to set up the room for the meeting and staying until 8:30 to clean up. We have 30 men on the roster but usually average about 20 at any one meeting

This Open House or “Come and See” is an introduction to the Pathways Formation Suite resources at our parish.
Hosting a gather with after the Masses and inviting all parishioners, with special encouragement for families interested in Sacramental preperation for their children. The resources represent a new model for faith formation, grandparents and older parents may be interested in stopping to see the materials we will use and learn more about this exciting new project.

Cor Men's Group

Cor Men's Group has been and would like to continue to meet in JPII room on the second and 4th Tuesdays of the Month. We would like the room & kitchen from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM for set-up, cooking, cleaning and take-down. We usually set-up (tables, monitor, cook....) at 5:00 to 6:00. At 6:00 have particpate in an opening payer and a decade of the Rosary and start eating around 6:20. Around 6:45 and running to about 7:30 we participate in a Bible Study/discussion. At 7:30 we start cleaning up.

Oktoberfest

Schnitzel, German Potato salad, pretzels, deserts.
German beer and wine for the adults and soda and water for the kids.
There will be an inflatable for the kids and games for both kids and adults.
There will also be live German/Polka music from 4:30 to 7:30pm.
Open to everyone, cost is based on what you eat and drink, still working out specific details.
This event is being put on by the Knights of Columbus Council 3086 OLV and all proceeds go to the Annual Coats for Kids Drive that will happen in November!
